[Proofreading] OUM Quality Management course modules

Salam and hye everyone~!!

A few months ago, GPC was approached by an Open University Malaysia (OUM) lecturer to proofread the contents of two course modules for the Quality Management course of the Faculty of Science and Technology (OUM Shah Alam campus). The modules were proofed chapter by chapter.

Finally, the modules are now published.

Seeing your hard work in solid books (rather than in the laptop) is quite satisfying, I must say.

GPC offers editing and proofreading services in English and Malay (Bahasa Melayu).

1) Reasons why you should hire GPC's editing and proofreading services:

• Certified member of the Malaysian Translators Association (MTA) / Persatuan Penterjemah Malaysia (PPM)
• Owns a Diploma of Professional Translation from MTA and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP)

2) Pricing rate: 

- RM0.03 - RM0.05 (3 - 5 sen) per word

The rate is based on the technicality of the words, text type/genre and the urgency of submission.
* e.g. [English proofreading]
-- magazine article on artificial intelligence - 1,000 words x RM0.03 = RM30.00
-- research report on artificial intelligence - 2,500 words x RM0.05 = RM125.00

3) Payment method:

- CIMB or Maybank

4) How to apply for editing/proofreading services:

i) If you need a document, i.e. article, thesis, research report etc., to be proofread or edited, just drop an email to greennnpandacraft@gmail.com. Remember to attach the document in the email (please ensure the document is in Microsoft Word format only).

ii) GPC will browse through the document and will quote the estimated charge.

iii) If you agree with the stated pricing, please rearrange for the payment.

iv) Once payment has been made, GPC will edit/proofread your document.

v) Your document will be proofread via Microsoft Office Word's "Track Changes". You will receive  two copies from GPC: the first copy has been proofread with clear "Track Changes" highlighted in coloured fonts for your reference; the second copy is the clean edited copy for your use.

5) Sample of editing/proofreading

- This is a sample of a proofread document done by GPC. You will receive these two copies as mentioned above.
